Kismet is a semi-realistic stray dog rpg. It takes place in a town called Kismet and some of the neighboring areas. In this role play the plot, if you can call it a plot, is basically where you let your own characters life unfold before you. There are four main packs, The Good, the Neutral, the Sidelander, and the Dark. The packs have their own lands and each leader is choosen carefully. There are many free lands in which your dogs can roam and a lot of different breeds that are roaming the streets so come on in and join. Will you let your dog experience Kismet?

Okay, so we really need to try and get this site completely active and stuff again, guys. I'll be working on a new skin and trying to advertise some more, all members that help out are appreciated. Until Amaya come back, I'll take over and work on the site as much as I can. All ideas are welcome and I hope that you guys will try to help me out and cut me a break. =/

Rescently we lost one of our admins named Shasta, and with that loss, I had kind of given up hope on the site, but I am back now for real and I will not be leaving again. There will be an activity check going on and some of the staff has been changed around. Lets give a big hand clap for AKAINE being promoted to second admin! Also, I am opening up staff tryouts so that I can get a new staffie or two sometime after The activity check is over.

Once again, Staff please be active. I am getting kind of annoyed with the fact that no one thinks they need to be active. Anyways, I know I have been having trouble getting on lately, but that should all be fixed this weekend. My computer had it's fan burn out and being tight on money I have to wait until we have extra money (payday, which is thursday night), though i MAY be next weekend that I come back. Either way SHASTA and TSAVO are in charge until I get back, and when I get back, there will be changes in the staff positions. *cough* *cough*

Just a quick update to all my unexcused and absent staffies... to be a staffie you must must must have the ability to be active, I am going to be holding a Staffie Activity Check on the staff board. 7 days to reply or no staff position. I am not being mean or rude but to get this site up and going I need active staff. I ALSO have some good and bad news, I may be getting a job but I am not going to jinx myself here by saying that I AM getting the job. If I do, it will effect my time here on Kismet, but not by alot seeing as the place that I may get the job at closes at 8 pm. I hardly get on before 8 anyways. <3 lol. Another thing is... My time here on Kismet will be limited the next few days, my friends six your old little boy is dying, he was in a really bad car accident the other day, and their is nothing else they can do for him. The only choices were: A) let him suffer or B) let him die peacefully.. so tonight, he will be passing on. =[ On the sad news as well... RIP Heath Ledger. I hereby conclude my update and go to fix up the site a bit more. Oh, and the Season is now Spring, no breeding and birthing happens these next three weeks.

So it is 2:25 Am here, and I just took the site out of MM and I am about to email everyone that is a member of this site to let them know. There may be a few more changes coming soon, but that all depends on the thoughts of the other staff. I am just trying to get it back up and running. Okay, so a really quick update, I have done alot in the past few days, and happily enough Kimset will be re-opening as soon as the new banner and new mini banner is made and put up. <3 The staff has been updated as well and the Coadmin, Global Mods and Mods have all be replaced with Ultra Staffies and Staffies. However, there are no Ultra Staffies as of now. Though, this idea came from another RPG I am on called Kodia, I have premission and no one else can use this without asking her first. Right after I figure out a few things from the staff, than I will be taking the board out of MM!!!

Things have been a bit hectic around here lately, and we are still trying to get everying ready and up and running. Shasta's husband has came home, so she will be gone for a little while. Congrats Shasta! <33 Tsavo is still here as well as Amaya and Bellezza has has come back to Kismet. Anyways, I have no re-opening date yet, but as soon as we do, you guys will be the first to know.

Amaya has came back, despite a few problems with her internet provider and becoming quite addicted to Online SIM Games. <3 Anyways, this site is being worked on and the changes in the staff where for the better of the site and to help get it back up and running already. The weather is now getting warmer as the season changes from winter to spring. Flowers and being to bloom, and sprinkles and showers of rain are common this time of year. The world is being to get more active again as the sun starts coming out to play.
CURRENT BANNS --------------------- Wolves Wolves are not played here, though you can get a wolf hybrid through them being born on the site or through winning a contest. You cannot just make one, doing so will get your application denied.

The Packs
Belle Mountains (8 sub-boards) This is the Belle Mountain Pack. They are the good dogs.
Pine Valley (9 sub-boards) This is the Pine Valley Pack. They are Sidelanders, that meaning that they are neutral, but they have more evil in them than good.
Savage River (6 sub-boards) This is the Savage River Pack. The dogs that reside here are evil at heart. I do not suggest entering these lands unless you to are cold blooded.
Abandoned School Yard This school yard was built a while back. It is no longer in use, but it provides shelter for the strays that roam the city. Moderator: Amaya

Dreamland Amusement Park This is the amusement park that is called Dreamland. It is like a mixture of eveyone's dreams [hence the name Dreamland]. Though it isn't closed down or abandoned, it is only open from Spring to Fall and it is closed during the winter months. Food here is plentliful during those open months, and some can be found during the winter. There are a few shelters here as well. Moderator: Amaya

New School Yard Starting in Autumn and lasting through the Spring months, this is where the kids of the city attend school. Years: Pre-K to 12th Grade come here. Some will feed you, others will throw stuff at you. But, if you wait until after playtime there is always plently of food and crumbs left laying around. Moderator: Amaya

Old Playground Even though this is an old playground, the people of today still use it. There is alot of things here: a swing, a slide, and bunch of other toys and things for little kids to play with. There is a fountain in the middle of it and there are picnic tables to the right of the park. Moderator: Amaya

Train Yard This is the city train yard. It connects the city to a few of the surrounding cities. While it is hardly ever used to transport humans anymore because of cars and what not, it is still used to transport some materials. The people who work here usually don't mind the strays hanging around, just...watch out for oncoming trains. Moderator: Amaya

Parking Garage This is a Parking Garage. There are four above ground levels and and two underground levels. Moderator: Amaya

The City Zoo This is the town zoo. There are many animals here, ranging from tigers, lions, bears, alligators, zebras, and a bunch of others. The main attraction for the humans is the rare White Tiger that resides here. Though, there are also leopards and panthers, and even a few mountain lions. A pack of wolves reside here as well. The Showtime This is the showtime. Once you are inside it you can go two ways. After you enter the main entrance, there is plenty of food and crumbs lying around. To the left you go and walk down the hallway and it leads to the actual showtime, with people performing and acting live. To the right you have the actual movie theater. Moderator: Amaya

Fox Trot City
Festivals This is where all of the city Festivals are held. They take place almost every season: Easter, Halloween, Christmas, ect... A great place to find food. Moderator: Amaya

The Animal Control This is much like the pound, only there are both cats and dogs here (in different cages of course). Animal control patrols around the city, the town, and the town/city outskirts. Moderator: Amaya

Silver Comet Trail This is a trail that goes all the way around the city. Humans love to walk or ride their bikes on it. Some people even walk their house pets. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the trail. There is plently of shade, sunshine, and rivers around this trail. Moderator: Amaya

Museums This is the city Museum. It is open during the day, and closed during the night. Though, some dogs can sneak in and hide and explore the mysterious museum at night. Moderator: Amaya

Fox Trot Library This is the city library. Everything is always calm and quiet in here, as long as you can remain unseen by the book keepers and other people who work here. Moderator: Amaya

Corporate Center This is a nice, big, hardly used Corporate Center. It used to be a very large buisness that ran out of it, but there are hardly ever humans here now. It is a great place to come just to hang out. But alot of force breeding and mating happens here. Though it is mainly the first of the two. Moderator: Amaya

The Aquarium This is Fox Trot Aquarium. It is a huge place and is filled with lots of fishes, some exotic and rare and some just normal fish. There are sharks, whales, and otters here as well. It is a romantic place to bring a dog, if you can manage to get in. Moderator: Amaya
